Woke up to a brewing thunderstorm here in Missoula. Thunderstorms seem to be rare occurances here, but I'm told we need the rain.
Spent yesterday evening printing small proof photos of the ones I will use for my final project -- a minimum of 5 photos printed, matted and framed or otherwise presented for showing the class and hanging during our graduation ceremony.
It's so exciting to print an image, hold it in your hands and determine how you could have made it better. That's what this summer is all about...making my photography better. Though it was a challenge to decide what theme to use for the project, the pressure is really on now to capture the images I need, tweak them in Lightroom or Photoshop, then print the best possible version.
Graduation is a mere 3 weeks away. The summer has flown by, filled with classes, assignments, projects, and meeting new people and seeing new places. It has been truly a personal growth time for me.
The photo is one of my proof shots from last night.
