Indian Summer

We're being blessed with a few gorgeous 'Indian summer' days, so I took full advantage of one today. Met with some friends from my photography club and went
scavenger hunt shooting... We took a list of ten words like 'tacky', 'out of place', 'childhood' and 'annoying' and went in search of a photo that would represent the word. 3 hours later we met back at a member's house, had pizza and reviewed photos. A great way to spend a beautiful day.
These are two of the nearly 500 photos I shot throughout the course of the day.

  1. Susan,
We've been sharing the same weather in Omaha - makes for great outdoor image hunting.

Hey, the keyword scavenger hunt idea is outstanding. I'm going to steal it for our photo club and see if I can get some folks out before winter shows up.

What did you find out about Squaw Creek and the bald eagles?

  2. Love the idea of the scavenger hunt, I too may steal that idea, love the colours in your shots and the feather is just great.

I feel there is a pattern in your composition with the feather and the leaf I liked in an earlier post.
