Rainy Thursday

Mother Nature is teasing us today. It was 50 degrees and sunny mid-day - oh, the promise of Spring! Now, just a couple of hours later, it is cloudy, windy and...raining! Drops spatter my office window and filter out the late winter earth tones of the landscape around me.

In the past 5 minutes, the gentle rain has turned to big fluffy snowflakes...
So much for the promise of Spring!

Have been busying myself with website updates, office cleaning and other mundane tasks awaiting Springs arrival...it looks like I've got a little longer to wait.

Snowy surprise

Awoke this morning to a fresh skiff on snow on my world. A nice respite from the pouring rain of the past couple of days. I threw on sweats, grabbed my camera and went outside for a look at the fading colors of fall. Found a few leaves hanging on to their 'personalities' despite the snow.
Enjoyed an afternoon visit from a photographer friend. Recounting good times in Missoula helps to take the dreary day blues away.
